Queer design and art fairs are where Buenos Aires' LGBTIQ+ community meets by day: small brands, illustration, clothing, ceramics, tattoo flash and objects made by people from the scene, sold directly to whoever is going to use them. No middlemen, no shelf.
At a queer design fair the stall and the person behind it are the same thing: whoever makes the t-shirt, the illustration or the pin is the one selling it and telling you where it came from. That builds community in a way nightlife doesn't always allow — people talk, swap socials, start collaborations. And the money stays in the hands of LGBTIQ+ artists and makers.
The fair is built with vendors who apply through
FEL!ZA's open calls. If you have a small brand, the application is on the open calls page.
